There are stairs from this room up to the mezzanine floor where you will find the office area with views to the east over Chichester harbour. Into the dining room there is a large dining table with seating for 8 where your party can enjoy what you have whipped up in the kitchen or why not have a break and sample on of the fantastic takeaways in the village.
The kitchen is open to the dining area and is well equipped with everything you would need to comfortably self cater for your stay including kettle, toaster, cafetiere, electric oven and induction hob, large American fridge freezer, microwave and dishwasher. The hosts have also provided a washing machine and a tumble drier which can be found in the utility room together with the iron and ironing board.
Back into the central hallway there is a master bedroom with a king size bed and an en suite shower room. There is a further double and a bunk room and another double room with a spiral staircase leading to the mezzanine floor with a viewing room looking west across the water towards Emsworth. The family bathroom has a bath with shower over.
To the rear the garden is beautiful and very private, guests are welcome to use the BBQ and the firepit.
To the front of the house there is a lovely decked area with seating where you can relax in the evening, enjoy a glass of wine looking across the estuary to the village.
There is parking to the front of the house for two vehicles.
This really is a fabulous house to make memories.
This stunning house is situated on the marina to the east of Emsworth which is a lovely village right on the Hampshire/Sussex boarder. From the house you can walk to the village through the Emsworth Marina and along the water to the centre of the village. The village itself is fantastic and packed with local independent shops, bakery, cafes, restaurants and pubs. If you want a real treat book yourself a table at Fat Olives, the food is out of this world! For a fabulous Sunday lunch or more casual dining the Kings Arms is a great place to try.
For a great day out you can easily reach Portsmouth Historic Dockyard or The Weald and Downland, home of BBC's The Repair Shop, both places are great fun for any age group. There is outlet shopping, cinema complex and bowling at GunWharf Quays which you can easily reach by car or train from Emsworth. For something a little different you can book seal watching boat trips from Hayling Island or hire kayaks from Emsworth Marina.
Access to the races and Goodwood Motor Circuit is really easy from Emsworth making Primrose Cottage the perfect location for when you are attending The Festival of Speed, Glorious Goodwood or The Revival.
