Carefully refurbished to a high standard, this cottage has been sympathetically designed to accentuate the building’s original purpose as a grain store. The building is over 300 years old and there are beautiful exposed oak beams throughout, giving the cottage a characterful yet comfortable feel.
The kitchen and dining area is fully equipped and includes hob, extractor fan, microwave with grill over, fridge, compartment freezer, kettle, toaster and dishwasher. There is a table and chairs for dining. We’ll leave you a welcome pack with bread and butter, fresh milk and tea and coffee.
The Granary has one large double bedroom which is situated on the ground floor, and the spacious bathroom has a shower, wall-hung basin, toilet & heated towel rail. Towels are provided.
Upstairs, and running the whole length of the cottage, is the living room, with a lovely oak beamed vaulted ceiling, original oak floor, and stylish log burner. There is a huge cosy corner sofa, perfect for snuggling down after a long day exploring the countryside, and for watching the large flat screen TV.
This property also has Sky TV, & free WIFI. Just outdoors is a sitting area, where you can enjoy eating al fresco. There are easy walks directly from the property. Ample parking is available.
We regret that we cannot allow dogs: however, there may be two small, friendly dogs belonging to the owners in the vicinity.

Several pubs nearby serve good food and Sussex ales. There is a farm shop and a butcher. The world famous Nyetimber sparkling wine is produced just outside the village, with many acres under vine.
