The weather’s not perfect yet you still need a break … what
can you do at this time of year … in fact at any time of year on your vacation.
Read. It’s inexpensive … and a luxury that in our busy lives people only seem
to get on their holidays.
You can cosy down by the open fire with a good book with hot
cup of cocoa in the winter, enjoy a gentle breeze from a juliet balcony while
you read from a comfortable double bed in spring, bathe in the hot sunshine,
catch a tan while reading the latest thriller in the summer and then you can get
back in front of the fire after kicking off your wellies in Autumn.
WHEREVER you are and WHATEVER the weather reading is a
holiday activity which never gets boring.
As avid reading fans in our own office we will bring you our
suggestions over 2018 of great novels to settle down with while you stay in our
Our first recommendation will be …. Drum roll please while I
get my Richard and Judy hat on ….
‘The Quality of Silence’ by Rosmund Lupton
I’m not one for spoilers so I’ll give zero away in every
blog but rest assured every book will be a page turner.
‘The Quality of Silence’ is the perfect book to read while
the UK is hit with adverse snowy weather. Set in Alaska on the dark icy Alaskan
Ice Road this thriller based around a small deaf girl on the hunt for her
Father will literally leave you on the edge of your seat.
Note to readers - Please comment with any further
recommendations as we are always looking for something to add to the reading list…
