It may be classed as a town but Selsey is still a seaside village at heart. So whether you are looking for a beach holiday, a water sports paradise or a quiet retreat, Selsey has it covered.

If you like scuba diving or snorkelling Selsey has some of the best water for diving in the UK, with more than 100 wrecks to explore just off the coast. You could also go swimming, sailing or windsurfing in the sea around Selsey Bill headland, take a bike ride along the coastal cycle path or head up to one of the stunning beaches at Bracklesham Bay, East Wittering or West Wittering to feel the sand crunching between your toes. You’ll find a great selection of shops, pubs and restaurants on the High Street along with a strong sense of community, especially at Christmas when the Selsey Lights are a sight to behold. There are many big events in the Selsey community calendar to look forward to, including the annual Selsey Festival in August (which culminates in the Selsey Carnival) and the magnificent Selsey Fireworks display which combines pyrotechnics with a fun fair and live music event.
